What is the engagement fee?
The engagement fee is a one-time cost to onboard you as a client. It covers the initial assessment of your books, setting up your file in our system, and any immediate catch-up work needed to get started. After this, you move to predictable monthly billing.
What if I haven't filed in several years?
That’s exactly what our Catch-Up & Recovery package is designed for. We’ll assess the scope of your situation during a free consultation, provide a custom quote for the engagement fee based on the number of years and complexity, and then transition you to an ongoing monthly plan once you’re current.
Do you serve clients outside the Fraser Valley?
Absolutely. While our office is in the Fraser Valley, we serve clients throughout the Lower Mainland and across British Columbia. Most of our work is done digitally, so location is never a barrier.
Can I cancel my monthly plan?
Yes, there’s no long-term contract. We ask for 30 days’ notice so we can ensure a smooth handoff of your records. Most clients stay with us because they love the peace of mind.
What bookkeeping software do you use?
We work with all major platforms including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Tax Cycle, Ledger Docs, Saasant, Paper Stream Capture, Method CRM, and DocuSign. If you don’t have a system yet, we’ll help you choose the right one for your business.
Are GST and PST filing included in the monthly fee?
Yes! GST filing is included in all packages. Note: BC uses GST (5%), not HST. PST filing and WorkSafeBC filings are included in the Small Business and Catch-Up packages. For Independent Professionals who also need PST or WorkSafeBC, we can add it for a small additional fee.
